Responsibilities:
- Lead design and integration of fire protection systems (sprinklers, hydrants, hose reels, risers, gas suppression, smoke control, etc.) with ACMV/M&E systems.
- Prepare hydraulic calculations, technical drawings, and schematics in compliance with SCDF, BCA, NFPA, FM Global, and local codes.
- Review fire safety plans, material submissions, and coordinate authority submissions for approvals and clearances.
- Manage fire protection works from design, tender, and installation to testing, commissioning, and handover.
- Conduct site inspections, risk assessments, and resolve technical or coordination issues.
- Oversee testing, commissioning, and integration with ACMV smoke control systems.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers, ensuring technical quality and compliance.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, and authorities to ensure smooth project execution.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Fire Safety Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 5-8 years experience in fire protection engineering within ACMV/M&E or construction projects in Singapore.
- Strong knowledge of fire codes and standards (SCDF, BCA, NFPA, FM Global).
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit/BIM, and hydraulic calculation software.
- Proven experience in large-scale projects (LTA, BCA, industrial, commercial, or infrastructure).
