We are seeking a highly motivated and client-focused Financial Lines Broker to join our dynamic insurance team in Singapore. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong technical knowledge, excellent negotiation skills, and a keen understanding of financial and professional risks.
To be successful in this role, you should have a minimum of 3 years experience in Financial Lines insurance, either from a broking or underwriting background. Strong client-servicing abilities, analytical skills, and attention to detail are essential. A good understanding of regulatory requirements in Singapore and experience handling complex corporate accounts will be highly advantageous.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and assess client needs to recommend appropriate financial lines insurance solutions
- Advise clients on suitable coverage options tailored to their risk profiles
- Place complex risks in both local and international insurance markets
- Build and maintain strong relationships with underwriters and clients across the region
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality broking and risk advisory services
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of broking practices and operational efficiency
- Stay informed on market trends, regulatory changes, and emerging risks in the financial lines sector
- Support business development initiatives and contribute to client acquisition and retention strategies
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Financial Lines insurance.
- Proven experience in broking or underwriting in a similar role.
- Strong technical understanding of Financial Lines products including D&O, PI, and Cyber Liability.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of local insurance regulations and compliance standards.
- Relevant professional qualifications (e.g., ACII, ANZIIF) are desirable.
