Job Description

Reporting to the Group CFO, the Senior Finance Manager – Transformation will play a key role to drive a Group-wide transformation of Finance through the implementation of SAP S/4HANA GROW (Public Cloud) with E2E procurement capability for Development and Downstream Construction.

This role is pivotal in reshaping Finance - moving from manual, fragmented systems and processes to a highly automated, standardised, and digitally integrated model - delivering a step change in productivity, control, and insight across the Woh Hup Group of companies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the comprehensive design, execution, adoption, and stabilization of SAP's upgrade and migration from legacy systems. This role requires effective coordination with IT teams, external system integrators, Finance, Procurement, and Banking partners, for entities across Singapore, Malaysia, the UK, Australia, and additional markets.
  • Ensure seamless integration of SAP with other essential systems. This includes internal digital platforms such as PDIP, Workday expense management, Group reporting, Group treasury, and country-specific e-invoicing systems.
  • Implement efficient, streamlined, and controlled finance and procurement workflows to replace legacy practice. Modernize reporting using touchless and AI-supported methods where possible.
  • Drive change within a complex environment where stakeholder may resist change and teams are formed of diverse nationalities with cross-functional dependencies. Ensure the adoption is sustained by developing super-users and embedding new digital and compliance-first productive ways of working.
  • Provide support to the Finance leadership team in strategic initiatives such as, but not limited to:
  • Design and adoption of a comprehensive M&A framework that incorporates detailed due diligence, financial valuation and governance guidelines to support Group-wide acquisitions, divestments and strategic investments.
  • Refine the Group's credit assessment framework with the aim of establishing more robust and extensive credit and KYC protocols.

Success Looks Like:

  • A digitally enabled finance team focused on analysis and value creation. Significant reduction in manual processing and spreadsheet dependency with automated procurement, invoicing, banking, and reconciliation processes.
  • Faster, more reliable month end close and reporting cycles. For consolidated group reporting, audit, local statutory and bank covenant reporting, and to enable the finance users to deliver higher quality decision-making information to the business.
  • Robust system controls across all jurisdictions including clear segregation of duties and role-based access, transparent audit trail, and enforced rules around chart of accounts and master data across entities.

Skills & Requirements

The ideal candidate should have:

  • Proven capability and experience in transformation, change management in new digital systems, and strong project management skills. Negotiate solutions that balance compliance, usability, and standardisation.
  • Strong knowledge of full-suite finance processes including record to report, order to cash, procure to pay, group reporting, treasury, tax & statutory compliance processes, against a multicurrency environment.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management, communication, and people agility. Build trust and momentum across diverse nationalities, cultures, and functions. Balance empathy with firm decision-making to drive meaningful and lasting change.
  • Strong growth mindset and high personal integrity. A team player, with a positive proactive approach to managing and solving problems.
