Job Summary
The role is responsible for overseeing all Finance functions within the Group and safeguarding the Group's financial health, governance, and long-term sustainability. In addition to statutory and management reporting, the role is expected to lead Finance transformation, ensuring the Finance function is future-ready, compliant with new financial reporting standards, and aligned with the evolving business model of a System Integrator (SI) and managed services organisation.
Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee comprehensive Finance operations including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, fixed assets, project accounting, and management reporting to ensure accurate and timely financial information.
- Ensure compliance with current and emerging financial reporting standards, including revenue recognition for managed services, subscription-based, and IP products.
- Deliver timely, accurate, and insightful financial reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis to support strategic decision-making.
- Maintain strong financial governance, internal controls, and compliance across all reporting activities to safeguard the Group's financial integrity.
- Review, redesign, and enhance finance frameworks, policies, processes, and controls to improve operational efficiency, scalability, and robustness.
- Lead Finance transformation initiatives to evolve the function from transactional operations to a value-adding, analytics-driven business partner.
- Drive adoption and integration of digital finance tools, ERP systems, workflow automation, and reporting dashboards to reduce manual effort and accelerate turnaround times.
- Establish standardized financial processes aligned with best practices for System Integrator and managed services business models.
- Provide financial advisory and decision support to business units on project costing, profitability analysis, managed services and recurring revenue models, pricing strategies, margin optimization, and investment ROI assessments.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning aligned with corporate strategy to drive sustainable growth.
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Operations, and Delivery teams to enhance financial visibility and enforce commercial discipline.
- Ensure effective internal controls over financial reporting and compliance with corporate governance requirements.
- Manage internal and external audit processes, including addressing audit findings and implementing remediation actions.
- Oversee tax matters including corporate tax, GST, and statutory filings to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Manage treasury functions including cash flow, working capital, and credit control to maintain business liquidity.
- Lead, coach, and develop the Finance team to build strong functional capabilities and succession plans.
- Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and professional integrity within the Finance team.
- Allocate resources effectively to meet operational and transformation objectives.
- Liaise with auditors, tax agents, banks, and regulatory bodies to ensure smooth financial operations.
- Undertake ad-hoc assignments and special projects as required by Management.
