As a Senior Finance Manager in Stewardship& Governance at Procter & Gamble, you will play a critical role in upholding the highest standards of financial integrity and operational compliance across our market/operating units. You will leverage your expertise to provide local oversight, conduct thorough self-audits, and ensure adherence to policies, legal requirements, and internal controls, particularly within the sales and business planning context. This role offers the opportunity to contribute significantly to the financial health and ethical framework of our operations, influencing key decisions and fostering a culture of accountability.
Responsibilities of the role
- Lead and execute local oversight and compliance activities, ensuring strict adherence to P&G policies, local legal requirements, and internal controls within assigned market/operating units.
- Conduct comprehensive self-audits to evaluate compliance with established standards, proactively identifying areas for improvement and driving remediation actions.
- Serve as a key point of contact and collaborate effectively with external auditors and authorities, managing interactions and ensuring timely responses.
- Oversee third-party governance, including robust contract management, performance monitoring, and compliance assessments.
- Develop and implement effective risk management strategies, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and mitigating financial and operational risks.
- Champion governance efforts, providing strategic support and guidance to assigned market or operating units.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with sales and business planning teams to embed stewardship principles, ensure financial objectives are aligned, and drive performance and operational improvements.
- Provide expert insights and support for sales and business planning processes, with a keen awareness of financial controls, ethical considerations, and compliance implications.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in finance, with significant exposure to stewardship, audit, and/or sales finance roles, preferably within a multinational company or the FMCG industry.
- Demonstrated experience in Sales Finance within the APAC markets is highly preferred, coupled with an awareness of sales and business planning processes.
- Proven experience in conducting self-audits, managing external audit relationships, and driving compliance initiatives.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and influence sales organization decisions.
- Knowledge of accounting standards, internal controls, and financial compliance.
- Proven ability to handle complex financial analysis, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Leadership abilities and the capacity to influence stakeholders at various levels of the organization.
