Role Overview
The ideal candidate will manage financial operations and provide strategic oversight for the India joint venture. This role requires strong technical expertise, industry knowledge, and cross-border adaptability to support business growth in the automotive and auto parts sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial leadership: Oversee accounting, reporting, and compliance for India JV.
- Audit and assurance: Ensure robust internal controls and compliance with statutory requirements of India, Singapore and China.
- Strategic planning: Support management in financial forecasting, budgeting, and capital allocation.
- Cross-border coordination: Align financial practices between Singapore HQ and India JV.
- Stakeholder communication: Present financial insights to senior management, auditors, and external partners.
- Team management: Build and mentor finance teams across geographies.
- Manufacturing costs management: Cost accounting, tracking and analysis.
Requirements
- Professional qualification: CPA or equivalent certification.
- Audit background: 3-5 years of audit experience preferred.
- Industry expertise: Prior exposure to electric vehicles batteries, automotive or auto parts industry.
- Mobility: Willingness to be stationed in India for extended periods.
- Language proficiency: Fluency in Chinese, English, and Tamil.
- Communication skills: Strong ability to convey complex financial information clearly to diverse stakeholders.
- Leadership qualities: Proven track record in managing teams and driving operational excellence.
