ROLE DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking a hands-on and commercially minded Finance Manager to join our growing team. Reporting to senior management, you will oversee the full spectrum of finance operations, financial reporting, management accounting, treasury, budgeting, and regulatory financial matters across DigiFT and its related entities. This is an exciting opportunity for finance professionals who thrive in fast-paced environments and are keen to gain exposure to the rapidly evolving digital assets and fintech ecosystem.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Financial Accounting & Reporting

  • Manage the full spectrum of financial accounting functions, including month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Prepare accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS) and applicable accounting requirements.
  • Oversee general ledger maintenance, account reconciliations, and financial record-keeping across the Group.
  • Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, corporate secretaries, and other professional service providers.

Management Reporting & Business Partnering

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual management reports, including financial performance analysis and business insights.
  • Develop budgets, forecasts, and financial models to support strategic business decisions.
  • Partner with business leaders to evaluate business performance, optimize costs, and improve profitability.
  • Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support management decision-making.

Treasury & Cash Flow Management

  • Monitor and manage cash flow, liquidity, and treasury activities.
  • Oversee payment processes, fund transfers, and banking relationships.
  • Develop and implement cash management strategies to support business growth and operational efficiency.

Operational Finance

  • Oversee day-to-day finance operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and expense management.
  • Ensure timely invoicing, collections, and payment processing.
  • Review and strengthen operational workflows and financial controls.

Regulatory Compliance & Internal Controls

  • Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax requirements, and regulatory obligations.
  • Support financial reporting requirements relating to MAS-regulated entities.
  • Enhance and maintain internal controls, policies, and procedures to support a robust control environment.
  • Assist with regulatory audits, financial audits, and compliance reviews.

Process Improvement & Strategic Projects

  • Drive finance process improvements, automation initiatives, and system enhancements.
  • Participate in cross-functional projects to support business expansion, new product launches, and operational scalability.
  • Support strategic initiatives through financial modelling, scenario analysis, and ad-hoc business reviews.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
  • Professional qualifications, such as CPA, CA, ACCA, or CFA, are preferred.
  • 3 to 8 years of relevant finance and accounting experience.
  • Prior experience in a high-growth startup or regulated financial institution is highly advantageous.
  • Strong knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS), IFRS, MAS regulated businesses and capital markets operations.
