Funda is a technology-driven company with a growing team across multiple regions around the world.

Our teams are paid and report in several currencies, and our finance function needs to work smoothly across entities, regulators and time zones. This role builds and runs that function.

Key Responsibilities

You will own the full finance function and act as a trusted partner to the leadership team.

• Planning and analysis: Own the annual budget, rolling forecasts and cash-flow planning; deliver monthly management reports and board or investor packs; partner with business leaders on unit economics, pricing and headcount cost.
• Accounting and reporting: Oversee bookkeeping, month-end close and consolidated financial statements for all group entities under IFRS and applicable local standards; lead statutory audits.
• Treasury: Manage multi-currency cash, banking relationships, foreign exchange exposure and intercompany funding.
• Tax and compliance: Ensure compliance with tax and statutory filing requirements in every jurisdiction where we operate; coordinate external tax advisers; maintain transfer pricing and intercompany agreements.
• Controls and policy: Design and maintain financial controls, approval authorities, and expense and procurement policies.
• Fundraising support: Support fundraising, due diligence and investor reporting where required.
• Systems and process: Select and improve accounting, expense and reporting systems; work with HR on payroll, benefits and people-cost reporting.
• Leadership: Lead and develop the finance team and manage external accountants, auditors and advisers.

Requirements

We are looking for a hands-on finance leader with 10+ years of experience, including 3+ years running a finance function across several entities and currencies, ideally within a multinational company.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field, plus a professional qualification (CPA, CA, ACCA or equivalent)
• Experience working in a multinational company, ideally in a group finance function covering several countries
• Working knowledge of IFRS and of tax and statutory compliance across multiple jurisdictions
• Experience with consolidation, statutory audits and cross-border intercompany arrangements
• Strong financial modelling and Excel skills; experience with cloud accounting and expense systems
• Fluent English; Mandarin is a strong plus, as we work with colleagues and advisers across regions
• Sound judgment, integrity and clear communication; comfortable working hands-on in a small, fast-moving team
