Senior Finance Manager

A leading international insurance group is looking for a Senior Manager, IFRS 17 Finance too lead regional finance and accounting initiatives across multiple Asia-Pacific markets.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead IFRS 17 finance and technical accounting implementation across regional entities.
• Oversee IFRS 17 reporting, disclosures, accounting policies and financial controls.
• Provide technical guidance on complex IFRS 17/IFRS 9 matters, including CSM and P&L attribution.
• Drive post-implementation BAU operations, process optimisation and standardisation.
• Partner closely with Finance, Actuarial, IT, Risk and external auditors/consultants.
• Support regional finance transformation, system enhancements and regulatory initiatives.

Requirements

• 10+ years of relevant life insurance experience within Asia-Pacific.
• Strong hands-on experience with IFRS 17 and IFRS 9 implementation and BAU operations.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end finance, reporting, controls and disclosures.
• Professional accounting qualification such as CA/CPA/ACCA or equivalent.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Regional or multi-entity experience is highly preferred.
• Experience managing regional/offshore teams is an advantage.
