Job Summary
Manage comprehensive accounting functions including accounts payable, payroll, GST submissions, and financial reporting to support statutory audits and business decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and process payments to local and overseas creditors to ensure timely settlement of accounts payable
- Oversee and support junior staff in managing accounts receivable to maintain accurate collections and cash flow
- Manage full set of accounts including performing reconciliations and maintaining the Fixed Asset Register for accurate financial records
- Calculate monthly payroll and commissions to ensure accurate and timely employee compensation
- Prepare and submit quarterly GST Returns in compliance with regulatory requirements
- Manage inter-company transactions with oversea affiliates
- Compile monthly management reports and consolidate yearly financial reports to facilitate statutory audit processes
- Prepare audit schedules and coordinate with auditors to address year-end audit queries effectively
- Maintain organized filing and documentation systems to support audit readiness and record retention
- Perform other ad-hoc accounting functions and generate reports to support business operations and financial control
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- At least 3 years of relevant accounting experience
- Bilingual and must be able to communicate with Mandarin speaking business associates
- Skilled in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and accounting software, preferably MS Dynamics 365BC
- Demonstrated meticulousness and strong analytical skills to ensure accuracy and insight in financial data
- Ability to work independently under pressure and meet tight deadlines

- Work location: Upper Thomson with company transport available on designated routes
- Work schedule: 5-day week
