Key Responsibilities
Month-End Close: Perform financial close activities (including bank reconciliation, forex revaluation, posting of journals) and balance sheet schedule preparation, reconciling accounts, and ensuring closing is completed accurately within the N+5 timeline for 3 key entities (SG, EU and US). Support Finance Manager on group consolidation after closing subsidiaries.
Daily Finance Operations: Manage AP and AR tasks to ensure no backlog, including invoice processing, supplier payments, and customer collections (EU and US).
Data Accuracy & ERP Management: Maintain precise financial records in the ERP system, ensuring error-free transactions, timely updates, and system optimization.
Compliance & Audits: Support statutory reporting, GST and annual tax filings, and audit requirements, ensuring timely submissions while upholding rigorous internal controls and regulations.
Special Projects: Collaborate with the Finance Manager on ad hoc initiatives such as inventory counts, process automation, and finance system enhancements to drive efficiency and cost savings.
Cross-Functional Engagement: Engage with various departments (sales, R&D, operations, etc.) to facilitate accurate financial data flow. Act as a point of contact to resolve discrepancies quickly, answer finance-related inquiries, and provide timely updates on invoice and payment statuses to stakeholders.
Continuous Improvement: Identify operational inefficiencies, suggest process enhancements, and implement best practices to streamline finance workflows.
Internal Controls & Policy Adherence: Strengthen internal controls by enforcing company financial policies and procedures on a daily basis. Ensure all financial activities adhere to these policies and maintain a high level of ethical standards and full regulatory compliance in every transaction.
Qualifications & Experience
Educational Background
- Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
Technical Proficiency
- Familiarity with accounting principles and basic tax regulations.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) or accounting software.
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills for data analysis, reporting, and reconciliation.
Work Experience
- Prior exposure (more than 4 years) in accounting and reporting with experience in full set of GL.
- A background in manufacturing industry, working cross-border (especially EU and US market) or knowledge in group consolidation is advantageous.

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy, especially when handling large volumes of transactions.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well across departments both on-site and virtually
