Senior Finance Executive

We are hiring a Senior Finance Executive to join Ang Mo Kio Methodist Church (TRAC). In this role, you will work with the Finance Committee to take ownership of the Church's accounting, finance, and treasury operations.

You will manage the full set of accounts, work closely with the Local Church's Executive and Finance Committees to implement strategies and initiatives. You will have the opportunity to oversee the performance of certain accounting transactions as an outsource function, and make a meaningful impact by supporting the Church's growth and helping drive efficiency, accountability and financial stewardship.

Job Scope and Responsibilities

• Maintain and prepare the complete set of accounts, including posting entries, closing books, processing payment vouchers, recording of donations and performing reconciliations.
• Prepare and analyze financial reports, annual financial statements, and other management reports.
• Coordinate with auditors for annual and other audits.
• Manage the Church's treasury functions, including managing deposits.
• Administer the annual finance and budgeting process
• Be the primary contact to the Local Church Executive Committee and Finance Committee for finance-related matters.
• Support and champion initiatives that enhance analytics and operational efficiency

Requirements

• Able to work independently and with a team, with a strong sense of accountability
• Keen to learn with coaching from people with various expertise
• Adaptable and able to anticipate changes and drive improvements
• Good interpersonal & communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

This position requires the candidate to be available for half-day work on Saturdays. Only shortlist candidate will be notified.
