Job Description:

  • This is an integrated finance business partner role covering the full spectrum of project controlling, quotation & costing, and manufacturing process controlling. The position partners closely with Sales, Project Management, Operations, and Supply Chain to drive profitability, cost transparency, and informed decision-making throughout the project lifetime management - from RFI to EOP. The role goes beyond reporting, actively shaping commercial and operational strategies while ensuring financial discipline and risk mitigation.
  • Quotation & Profitability management - Protect and expand margins by understanding true cost structures and quotation dynamics. - Quotation Framework Development - Customer & Product Profitability Analysis - Discount & Rebate Management
  • Project lifetime controlling - Lead end-to-end project lifetime management from finance perspective. - Translate project scope and milestones into measurable financial impacts (revenue, gross margin, contribution margin, and cash flow). - Assess the financial sustainability of project growth assumptions, cost escalations, and resource allocation strategies. - Provide fact-based recommendations to optimize project profitability, balancing growth targets with margin trade-offs. - Deliver project-specific business case presentations and financial models to senior management for approval. - Monitor project budget vs. actual performance, identify variance root causes, and recommend corrective actions to keep projects on track for profitability.
  • Manufacturing controlling - Costing and plant controlling - Manage plant cost accounting, including standard costing, actual vs. standard variance analysis (material, labor, overhead), and closing activities. - Conduct variance analysis of actual vs. budgeted operational costs, identifying root causes (e.g., material price fluctuations, production inefficiencies, route changes) and driving cost-saving initiatives. - Optimize inventory & asset Management - Monitor inventory levels, slow-moving/obsolete items, and fixed asset utilization ensure accurate valuation and controls. - Support month-end/quarter-end closing processes for manufacturing and logistics operations, ensuring accurate cost recognition and financial reporting.
  • Other ad-hoc tasks assigned

Job Requirements:

  • 5 years above working experience, preferably from Manufacturing/Automobile industry
  • Developed costing experience is a must
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to set priorities, complete work with minimal supervision, and meet deadlines
  • Can do spirit with problem solving mindset
  • Excellent writing and communication skills
  • Self-motivated and result orientation
  • Proven track record in building strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders at various level
  • High level of proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and SAP (FICO module, desirable: SD, MM, EC-PCA)
  • Experience in managing multiple priorities and stakeholders in a culturally diverse environment.
  • Excellent team player who demonstrates flexibility and embraces collaboration
