Senior Finance Associate

We are looking for a hands-on finance professional to join an investment management firm on a 12-month contract to support day-to-day finance operations — primarily payments processing and month-end close across the smaller entities within the group.

BAU Finance Operations (Primary Focus)

• Process and review payments prepared at the AP stage, ensuring accuracy, proper approvals, and timely execution
• Own month-end close for the smaller entities within the group — journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and intercompany eliminations
• Review month-end reporting packages from overseas bookkeepers (external)
• Support indirect tax filings (VAT / GST / SST) across relevant jurisdictions
• Assist with annual audit preparation and liaise with external auditors
• Support intercompany funding tracking and basic cashflow monitoring
• Handle ad-hoc finance tasks as required

System Implementation Support (Secondary)

• Provide finance-side input to the Workday implementation team during configuration and rollout
• Participate in UAT — testing scenarios relevant to AP, month-end, and reporting

Key Requirements

Education / Professional Qualification

• Qualified accounting professional (CA, CPA, ACCA, or equivalent) preferred

Relevant Experience

• At least 4 years of relevant finance experience, with strong hands-on exposure to payments processing and month-end close
• Comfortable working independently on close activities and meeting tight reporting deadlines
• Experience in multi-entity environments

Nice to Have

• Exposure to an ERP rollout or finance systems implementation (Workday, SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar) — as a user, tester, or workstream contributor
