Senior Associate, Finance

Role Purpose

We are seeking a Senior Associate, Finance to join our team in Singapore. Reporting to Head of Finance, Singapore / South Asia, you will predominantly be responsible for overseeing end-to-end financial control, reporting, and compliance for Asendia Singapore entity, including strong financial close, balance sheet governance and accurate billing across cross-border logistics, e-commerce, and postal services. You will partner closely with stakeholders to safeguard revenue integrity, cash flow, and overall financial performance.

Your Tasks

1. Financial Control & Reporting

  • Oversee financial close processes and maintain strong balance sheet controls.
  • Prepare management accounts in accordance with Singapore / International Financial Reporting Standards.
  • Prepare financial and variance analysis, and performance insights for management and HQ.
  • Support internal and external audits.

2. Accounts Receivable (AR) & Cash Flow Management

  • Oversee end-to-end AR processes to drive timely collections in collaboration with Sales.
  • Monitor Account Receivable aging, Days Sales Outstanding (DSO), and customer credit exposure, managing escalation and credit controls.

3. Billing & Revenue Governance

  • Own and govern billing processes and ensure alignment with contractual terms and agreements.

4. Tax & Statutory Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with Singapore tax and statutory requirements.
  • Support cross-border tax matters and ensure accurate handling of duties, taxes and foreign exchange documents.

5. Business Partnering & Stakeholder Management

  • Act as a finance business partner across stakeholders, providing financial input on pricing, contracts, and business initiatives.

Your Profile

A. Qualifications

  • A minimum of a degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent; professional qualification advantageous (e.g. CA/CPA/ACCA).
  • Minimum 8 years experience in finance control, preferably in logistics, e-commerce, or supply chain.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP FI/CO preferred and shared service models.
