We are partnering with a private investment firm to hire a hands-on Senior Finance Executive. The ideal candidate will have a background in audit or in-house finance, with additional experience in property accounting or hospitality/hotel-related finance operations. This role supports the finance leadership team in financial reporting, investment accounting, tax matters and operational finance activities across multiple entities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review monthly accounts prepared by outsourced providers for group entities, property-related entities and family trusts.
- Review management reports, financial statements and supporting schedules.
- Perform reconciliations of cash, investments, intercompany balances, related party transactions and property-related revenue/expense items.
- Validate occupancy reports, management fee calculations and operating statements where applicable.
- Coordinate with outsourced providers on timely GST submissions.
- Provide required documentation to tax agents for corporate, property and trust entities.
- Support trade processing, capital call funding and investment onboarding.
- Prepare subscription/redemption documentation for private equity, hedge fund and other investment vehicles.
- Collaborate with external partners such as accounting vendors, property managers, banks, auditors, tax agents and corporate secretarial firms.
- Support process improvements, finance transformation initiatives and special projects.
- Undertake additional duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance or related fields.
- CA/ACCA/CPA qualification preferred.
- At least 4 years of experience in audit or in-house finance, with exposure to funds, property, hospitality or hotel operations.
- Strong understanding of accounting standards and statutory requirements.
- Detail-oriented, organised and able to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Proactive, resourceful and comfortable working in a lean environment.
