Job Description

On a typical day you will:

  • Provide specialized technical support for Otis elevator systems, including Gen2, SkyRise, and CompassPlus technologies.
  • Assist field technicians with fault diagnosis, troubleshooting, and corrective actions.
  • Support commissioning and testing of new Otis installations and modernization projects.
  • Collaborate with Otis engineering and product support teams for escalated issues.
  • Maintain detailed records of service cases, technical reports, and root cause analyses.
  • Conduct technical training for service teams on Otis systems, software tools (e.g., eService, REM), and safety protocols.
  • Ensure compliance with Otis standards, local regulations, and international codes (e.g., EN 81, ASME A17.1).
  • Participate in remote diagnostics and predictive maintenance initiatives using Otis monitoring platforms.
  • Provide feedback to improve product performance and service processes.
  • Provide remote support for field technicians

What you will need to be successful

  • Diploma/Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience working with Otis elevator systems.
  • Strong understanding of Otis control systems, drives, and safety mechanisms.
  • Familiarity with Otis diagnostic tools and software platforms.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and customer service orientation.
  • Ability to interpret Otis technical documentation and wiring diagrams.
  • Willingness to travel and support field operations as needed, including weekends as and when required.
