On a typical day you will:
- Provide specialized technical support for Otis elevator systems, including Gen2, SkyRise, and CompassPlus technologies.
- Assist field technicians with fault diagnosis, troubleshooting, and corrective actions.
- Support commissioning and testing of new Otis installations and modernization projects.
- Collaborate with Otis engineering and product support teams for escalated issues.
- Maintain detailed records of service cases, technical reports, and root cause analyses.
- Conduct technical training for service teams on Otis systems, software tools (e.g., eService, REM), and safety protocols.
- Ensure compliance with Otis standards, local regulations, and international codes (e.g., EN 81, ASME A17.1).
- Participate in remote diagnostics and predictive maintenance initiatives using Otis monitoring platforms.
- Provide feedback to improve product performance and service processes.
- Provide remote support for field technicians
What you will need to be successful
- Diploma/Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience working with Otis elevator systems.
- Strong understanding of Otis control systems, drives, and safety mechanisms.
- Familiarity with Otis diagnostic tools and software platforms.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and customer service orientation.
- Ability to interpret Otis technical documentation and wiring diagrams.
- Willingness to travel and support field operations as needed, including weekends as and when required.
