Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing day-to-day operations of industrial facilities, including complex mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
- Manage Property Executives (PE) assigned to various industrial properties, providing guidance, support, and performance evaluation
- Support the implementation and monitoring of preventive maintenance programs for industrial equipment and machinery
- Help coordinate and oversee specialized contractors and service providers for industrial-specific maintenance and repairs
- Assist the Senior Facilities Manager in preparing and submitting comprehensive reports on facility operations, maintenance activities, and performance metrics
- Ensure compliance with industrial safety standards, environmental regulations, and occupational health requirements
- Support the development and implementation of energy efficiency initiatives tailored to industrial settings
- Manage inventory of industrial supplies, spare parts, and equipment
- Assist in space planning and optimization for industrial workflows and storage
- Support emergency preparedness and response planning specific to industrial hazards
- Contribute to the development and monitoring of facility-related KPIs and performance metrics
- Assist in managing and optimizing utility consumption in industrial settings
- Support the implementation and maintenance of facility management information systems (FMIS) for industrial properties
- Coordinate with production and logistics teams to minimize disruptions during maintenance activities
- Assist the Senior Facilities Manager in budget preparation and monitoring of facility-related expenses
Qualifications:
Degree from a recognized tertiary establishment in Facilities Management, Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial), or related field
Minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience in industrial facilities management or related roles
Proven experience in managing and developing a team of Property Executives
In-depth knowledge of industrial building systems, equipment, and maintenance practices
Strong understanding of industrial safety regulations and environmental compliance requirements
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with industrial FMIS or CMMS software
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to make quick, informed decisions
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with various stakeholders, including operations teams, contractors, and regulatory bodies
Ability to read and interpret technical documents, industrial equipment manuals, and building plans
Experience in preparing and presenting comprehensive facility management reports.
Valid Fire Safety Manager Certification
