We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced M&E Senior Facilities Engineer to oversee the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems at the site. This role involves managing day-to-day operations, preventive and corrective maintenance, as well as supporting Addition & Alteration (A&A) works to ensure seamless campus facilities operations. The engineer will work closely with contractors, vendors, and the client to deliver efficient, safe, and sustainable facilities services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations and maintenance of M&E systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, etc.) within the premises.
- Manage A&A works, including feasibility studies, project coordination, contractor supervision, and ensuring works are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
- Conduct regular inspections, audits, and troubleshooting to ensure systems reliability and compliance with local codes and regulations.
- Lead and supervise technicians and contractors in preventive/corrective maintenance activities.
- Support energy efficiency initiatives and monitor utility consumption to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Prepare technical reports, incident investigations, and documentation for compliance and client updates.
- Liaise with authorities, consultants, and vendors for permits, statutory submissions, and inspections.
- Ensure workplace safety (WSH) compliance and implement risk assessments and safety procedures.
- Provide technical advice to the client and management on system upgrades, asset lifecycle, and sustainability improvements.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Building Services, or Facilities Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in M&E facilities management, with exposure to A&A projects.
- Strong knowledge of Singapore Codes of Practice, BCA, SCDF, and relevant statutory regulations.
- Familiar with CAFM/CMMS systems and MS Office applications.
Preferred Experience:
- Prior experience working in institutional/educational facilities or campus environments.
- Hands-on experience in managing A&A works from planning to execution.
- Exposure to energy management and sustainability projects.
- Previous involvement in managing outsourced service providers.
