Job Description

We're looking for a Senior/Principal Facilities Engineer to take on a high-impact leadership role supporting mission-critical fab operations and a major site expansion project. This is a hands-on opportunity to shape infrastructure, drive compliance, and ensure operational excellence in a cutting-edge semiconductor environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and drive fab expansion and construction projects, acting as the key interface between contractors and internal teams
  • Oversee project timelines, commissioning (T&C), and delivery, ensuring systems meet design, operational, and regulatory requirements
  • Support tool installation, layout planning, and infrastructure readiness, working closely with Process, Equipment, and Production teams
  • Manage and optimize critical facility systems (HVAC, electrical, PCW, DI water, WWTP, Life Safety, FMS), ensuring reliability and scalability
  • Ensure full compliance with environmental, safety, and regulatory standards (PUB, NEA, SCDF), including emissions, effluent, and waste management
  • Lead hazardous waste coordination, audits (ISO/IATF), and CAPA closure
  • Act as the technical SME and escalation point for complex facilities issues, minimizing downtime and business impact
  • Monitor utility capacity and drive future expansion planning to support growth

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related field
  • Possesses at least 10+ years of facilities engineering experience, ideally in semiconductor or high-tech manufacturing
  • Strong expertise in mission-critical utilities systems and wet sub-fab environments
  • Proven experience in construction, commissioning, and large-scale infrastructure projects
  • Solid understanding of local regulatory frameworks (PUB, NEA, SCDF)
  • Experience with layout planning tools (e.g., AutoCAD)
  • Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and problem-solving capabilities
