Senior Facade Engineer (Glass)

Responsibilities:

. To prepare design calculations for building facade using design software.

. To review calculations and shop drawings to ensure compliance with relevant building codes and specifications.

. To manage complex interfaces between design, fabrication, and site installation with strong technical expertise in faade engineering, particularly in glass curtain wall and cladding systems.

. Collaborating with project managers, quantity surveyors, and project teams to provide solutions to structural issues of facade works

. Ensuring designs comply with relevant building codes, regulations, and industry standards

. Manage timelines, budgets, and resources related to faade packages.

. Providing technical support and guidance to project teams throughout the construction process

. To be responsible and prepare for the BCA submission for approval

. Any other duties that assigned by a superior.

Requirements:

. Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Civil or Structural Engineering or higher qualifications.

. At least 5 years of experience in faade engineering with proven expertise in glass curtain wall and cladding systems.

. Preferred to have an LTA projects background

. Strong understanding of material properties (Glass).

. Familiarity with faade design software (AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino/Grasshopper, Tekla, or equivalent).

. Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to think creatively and provide innovative solutions

. Excellent communication and leadership skills with ability to manage stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams.

. Thorough understanding of local building codes, regulations, and industry standards
