Senior Executive, Technical Accounting - Treaty Client Services
The Treaty Client Services team within Aon Reinsurance Solutions plays a key role in delivering accurate, timely and high‑quality post‑placement service to treaty clients across Asia. Working alongside reinsurance broking teams, technical specialists and the Global Capabilities Center (GCC) (Offshore), the team ensures that treaty technical accounting and related processes run smoothly and efficiently.

What the day will look like
Technical Accounting Operations
- Perform complex treaty technical accounting activities, including:
- Adjustment calculations (e.g. PC, SSC, LPC) for Asia treaty contracts.
- Resolving data discrepancies between system data (e.g. GRiDS) and contract wording.
- Handle queries from the GCC Processing Team and external stakeholders on invoice processing and calculations, ensuring accurate and timely responses.
- Prepare and maintain working sheets for data entry in GRiDS and support accurate invoice and statement issuance.
- Support processes related to brokerage credit/fees invoices where required, ensuring correct set‑up and posting.
Process, SOPs & Training Support
- Assist in documenting and maintaining standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions and controls for non‑advocacy Treaty Client Services processes.
- Identify recurring issues and process difficulties suggest improvements to simplify workflows and reduce errors.
- Supporting team lead in delivering technical training to GCC and onshore teams (e.g. processes, calculations, systems such as GRiDS).
- Contribute to knowledge transfer and documentation required for migration of appropriate Tier 2 activities to the GCC, while keeping complex work onshore.
GCC Enablement & Collaboration
- Act as a day‑to‑day technical contact for GCC Offshore colleagues on complex treaty processes and GRiDS usage, providing clear guidance and clarification.
- Help monitor quality and timeliness of work performed in the GCC highlight issues and support corrective actions.
- Work closely with Team Lead and other team members to ensure migrated work remains stable in the GCC and at the correct tier.
Stakeholder & Team Collaboration
- Work collaboratively with Advocacy, Broking, Broking Support, Credit Control and Finance teams to support accurate technical accounting and smooth end‑to‑end processes.
- Provide regular updates on work status, issues and risks to Team Lead and relevant stakeholders.
- Contribute to a strong one team culture across Onshore and Offshore, role‑modelling collaboration, transparency and continuous improvement.
How this opportunity is different
You will be part of a small expert group in Singapore responsible for complex treaty technical accounting activities and operational support. You will work hands‑on on complex calculations and reconciliations, help maintain and enhance technical accounting processes, and support knowledge transfer and training across onshore and offshore teams.

Skills and experience that will lead to success
- Typically, 7+years experience in treaty reinsurance technical accounting
- Good understanding of treaty reinsurance contracts and related operational processes (e.g. technical premium calculations, PC/SSC/LPC adjustments).
- Experience with reinsurance technical accounting systems, or strong willingness and ability to become a system SME.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to document processes clearly and follow SOPs and controls.
- Good communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts in a clear and concise manner.
- Collaborative working style, with a willingness to be hands‑on and take ownership of issues through to resolution.
- Proficiency in Excel and comfort working with data and reconciliations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
