Responsibilities

Program Coordination & Delivery Support

  • Support the coordination of multiple strategic projects, partnering with business and technology leads to maintain momentum and outcomes.
  • Assist with translating strategic objectives into practical roadmaps, workplans and governance routines, and track delivery against agreed milestones.
  • Maintain a view of program progress, highlighting slippages, interdependencies, and emerging risks to program managers and the program director.
  • Support change management by coordinating inputs, timelines and materials with business and change teams.

Executive Stakeholder Engagement

  • Partner with the program managers and program director to prepare structured materials for senior stakeholders discussions.
  • Support the preparation of senior‑level communications (e.g., steering committee and ExCo updates), articulating progress, risks, trade‑offs, and decisions required.
  • Follow up and facilitate alignment across functions to enable timely decision‑making and coordinated delivery.

Governance, Risk & Delivery Assurance

  • Support established program governance routines, including meeting coordination, reporting cycle, and dashboards to drive transparency and control.
  • Identify, track, escalate, and help resolve strategic, financial, and delivery risks and issues.
  • Support project reviews and health checks to assess delivery confidence and benefits realisation, and coordinate follow‑up actions.

Financial & Performance Oversight

  • Support tracking of program financials, including budgeting inputs, forecasting, and variance commentary, partnering with Finance and program owners.
  • Assist with maintaining tracking of benefits and KPIs, ensuring alignment with agreed business outcomes.
  • Recommend corrective actions and support delivery teams in re-balancing plans when performance deviates.

People & Capability Leadership

  • Provide day‑to‑day coordination and support to project managers and workstream leads (as applicable)
  • Contribute to building program management and change capability across the organisation by sharing standards, templates, and best practices.

Experience

  • 2–4 years of progressive experience in strategy, transformation, or program/project management roles.
  • Track record supporting or leading workstreams within large‑scale transformation programs in complex organisations.
  • Prior experience in Big‑4, consulting, or equivalent advisory environments strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with senior stakeholders (including facilitating decisions and influencing without authority).
  • Strong financial, analytical, and structured problem‑solving capabilities.
  • Deep expertise in program governance, delivery assurance, vendor management, and change leadership.
  • Ability to operate seamlessly between strategic vision and operational detail (e.g., Finance, Actuarial, Data, or Technology domains).
  • Resilient and proactive, with a strong sense of ownership, attention to detail, and ability to operate in ambiguity.
  • Experience with multiple projects at the same time with different interactions and dependencies.
