Job Title: Third Party Programme Senior Executive / Assistant Manager
ROLE OVERVIEW
Responsible for managing and governing external vendors and partners that support the inhouse programmes established. Includes overview of claims processing, provider networks, IT services, and customer support. The role ensures that third-party engagements deliver high-quality services, comply with healthcare regulations, and effectively manage operational, clinical, and data privacy risks.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Programme & Vendor Management
- Oversee outsourced healthcare services such as claims adjudication, provider network management, and member services.
- Monitor vendor performance to ensure SLAs, KPIs, and benchmarks are met
- Drive continuous improvement and innovation across vendor-delivered services.
- Review, evaluate, and ensure smooth daily operations in claims, contact
- centre and clinic network.
- Handle enquiries, investigate feedback and escalations in a timely manner.
Healthcare Compliance & Governance
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, health authority guidelines, and insurance regulatory requirements
- Implement governance frameworks aligned with healthcare insurance standards and internal risk policies.
- Coordinate audits and assessments of vendors covering data privacy, clinical quality, and operational processes.
Risk & Quality Management
- Identify and mitigate third-party risks, including:
- Data privacy and cybersecurity risks (patient/member data)
- Operational and business continuity risks
- Oversee quality assurance programmes for claims accuracy, fraud detection, and member experience.
- Manage incident response, including breaches, service disruptions, or compliance issues.
Stakeholder & Provider Collaboration
- Act as the main liaison between internal teams (Claims, Medical, Compliance, IT, Customer Experience) and external vendors.
- Collaborate with provider networks (hospitals, clinics) and third-party administrators (TPAs).
- Provide regular insights and reports to senior leadership on programme performance and risk exposure.
- Conduct internal training on onboarding criteria of TPA programme to internal stakeholders.
Contract & Commercial Management
- Support vendor procurement, contract negotiation, and renewals.
- Ensure contractual obligations (clinical standards, turnaround times, data security clauses) are met.
- Track costs, utilisation trends, and value delivery from outsourced services.
Reporting & Analytics
- Develop dashboards to track claims metrics, utilisation rates, service quality, and turnaround times.
- Use analytics to detect fraud, waste, and abuse (FWA) and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Regulatory compliance and audit outcomes.
OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE
- Confident, with strong influencing ability
- Resilient
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a similar capacity (Candidates with no relevant experience will also be considered)
- Recognized degree in any discipline and/or professional insurance qualifications
- Good working knowledge of employee benefits products
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong verbal and written English (Effective bilingual in Mandarin will be bonus)
