Senior Executive, Ocean Freight Ocean Bulk

• Plan and coordinate ocean freight shipments from origin to destination
• Book cargo space with carriers and arrange for pickup and delivery of goods.
• Monitor shipment status and provide updates to customers and internal stakeholders.
• Monitor, measure, and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) for vendor performance, ensuring adherence to defined service standards.
• Manage operators files end-to-end
• Prepare and process all necessary shipping documents, including bills of lading, packing lists, and customs declarations.
• Ensure compliance with international shipping regulations and company policies.
• Handle import and export documentation and procedures
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers regarding ocean freight shipments.
• Address customer inquiries and resolve issues related to shipping, tracking, and documentation.
• Provide exceptional customer service to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with internal departments such as sales, customs, and warehouse teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues to coordinate shipment details and resolve any issues
• Negotiate rates with carriers and other service providers to ensure cost-effective shipping solutions.
• Monitor and manage shipping costs to stay within budget.
• Be responsible for timely invoicing, input of costs, revenue and other data to facilitate finance month-end closing
• Maintain accurate records of shipments, including tracking information and documentation.
• Update logistics software and systems to manage and track shipments
• Identify and resolve any issues or delays in the shipping process.
• Proactively address potential problems to minimize disruptions.
• Handle any other responsibilities as and when assigned

• Applicants with knowledge and experiencing in managing Ocean Fr eight shipments or Bulk Liquids preferred
• Diploma/ degree with at least 3-5 years of relevant working experience
