Job Description

This role is responsible for the operational and programmatic support of the NBS Global Leaders (NGL) Programme, the new Signature Scholars Programme for Nanyang Business School. Similar to other such programmes at NTU like the Renaissance Engineering Programme, NGL offers students a customised experience to enable students to achieve their full potential and become the next generation of business leaders.

This role will support the NGL team and NGL scholars in the critical areas of curriculum planning, course enrolment & management, student outreach & activities, international immersions, and internships. This role is required to work closely with the NBS Undergraduate Programmes Office in the coordination and administering of various academic activities to enable a meaningful and hassle-free student experience for all our NGL scholars. This role is also expected to provide logistical support in the various NGL activities such as booking of rooms/transport and coordinating with key stakeholders to ensure NGL events are run smoothly and efficiently.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end administration of NGL programme and curriculum

  • Engage NGL scholars, faculty, staff and external partners not limited to vendors

  • Provide administrative and logistical support for all NGL activities and events, both on and off campus

  • Ensure projects and activities are delivered smoothly and within budget

  • Support the NBS Undergraduate Programmes Office where appropriate

  • Assist with other tasks and duties as assigned by supervisor

Requirements:

  • Minimum Bachelor Degree

  • Minimum 3 to 5 years experience in managing projects, prior experience in higher education will be advantageous

  • Proficient in MS suite (Excel, Word, Forms, Outlook)

  • Strong project management skills including planning, executing, tracking and reporting

  • Able to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively

  • Excellent collaboration, administrative and communication skills to work across cross-functional teams and engage diverse stakeholders at all levels

  • Problem-solving and critical thinking skills

  • Detail-oriented and able to handle large volumes of data

  • A team player who can work independently, self-starter and a willingness to learn
