Senior Executive/ Manager, Programmes & Partnerships (Mentorship)

Since our founding in April of 2005, Young NTUC has grown to over 150,000 members who are 35 years and below. Young NTUC supports individuals throughout their professional and personal journey to achieve their aspirations through a multitude of purposeful activities and opportunities. In collaboration with a vast number of partners ranging from unions to companies to government agencies, we can provide career discovery and navigation, workplace protection and support, leadership development, mental well-being resources, holistic personal development and many more.

Responsibilities:

Mentorship Programme

• Grow the NTUC Mentorship Programme, including strategy, design, and year-round delivery. Design and oversee the mentor-mentee matching process to ensure meaningful, well-fitted pairings.
• Conceptualise and lead both generic and industry-specific mentorship tracks, working with internal stakeholders (Unions, NTUC PME, NTUC Freelancers, NTUC SME Partners) and external partners (IHLs, government agencies, industry bodies).
• Develop structured pathways and journeys for mentors and mentees that create a meaningful, outcomes-focused experience.
• Support the outreach and engagements team in implementing mentorship touchpoints and events with partners.

Research & Insights

• Conduct research on younger employment trends and emerging needs. Translate research findings into actionable recommendations for programme design and stakeholder engagement.
• Support the development of new programmes or initiatives that we can lead or participate in under the Tripartite Jobs Council and work with relevant tripartite partners on the execution of the plans.

Career Programmes & Partnerships

• Partner internal and external stakeholders to conceptualise, develop, and execute career-related programmes for youths who are transitioning from school to school and school to work, as well as first jobbers looking for progression.
• Build and manage relationships with IHLs, government-related organisations, and industry partners to expand programme reach and relevance.

Programme & Portfolio Management

• Manage day-to-day operations across all initiatives above, including budgeting, relationship management, and outcomes tracking and measurement.
• Take on other duties as assigned relating to programmes and partnerships, spanning both internal NTUC ecosystem stakeholders and external government-related organisations.

Requirements:

• Degree holder in any discipline.
• Entry Level applicants are welcome to apply.
• Possess project and resource management skills to handle concurrent work assignments and deliver high quality work within tight deadlines.
• Have excellent communication skills and inter-personal skills
• Able to work on some weekday evenings and Saturdays.
• Good understanding of the dynamics and challenges of young adults (IHL youths and first jobbers specifically) sector.
