Job Description

KeyResponsibilities

  • Drive the planning and execution of integrated marketing and outreach initiatives across digital platforms, social media, website, and events to enhance Maxwell Chambers visibility and engagement within the legal community.
  • Collaborate with management to develop and implement business development strategies, contributing to client acquisition, partnerships, and overall organisational growth.
  • Build and manage relationships with legal organisations, institutional clients, and stakeholders, acting as a key point of contact and fostering long-term engagement.
  • Lead business meetings, presentations, and site tours with prospective clients, effectively communicating Maxwell Chambers value proposition and service offerings.
  • Take ownership of the planning and management of the annual events calendar, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities and brand positioning.
  • Oversee end-to-end execution of events, including conferences, meetings, and training programmes-managing vendor coordination, logistics, onsite delivery, and post-event evaluation.
  • Provide high-level secretariat support to legal organisations and institutional clients, including coordinating meetings, preparing agendas, reviewing materials, and ensuring accurate documentation of proceedings.
  • Liaise with relevant stakeholders and external parties to coordinate submissions, documentation, and compliance-related requirements where applicable.
  • Maintain and oversee CRM systems and stakeholder databases, ensuring data integrity and supporting relationship management and reporting needs.
  • Support and guide junior team members or vendors where required, ensuring quality execution and adherence to timelines.
  • Undertake additional marketing, events, and organisational initiatives as assigned.
  • Other work that may be assigned.

Required Skills & Competencies

  • A law degree or prior experience in a legal, arbitral, institutional, or professional services environment would be an advantage
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage senior legal stakeholders
  • Excellent organisational and project management capabilities, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Strong stakeholder management and client relationship skills
  • High attention to detail, with sound judgment and problem-solving abilities
  • Research and analytical skills, with the ability to translate insights into action
  • Ability to manage confidential information with professionalism and discretion
  • Experience in event management and vendor coordination
  • Familiarity with CRM systems, administrative processes, and document management
  • Proactive, resourceful, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Team-oriented, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions
