Job Description

The Senior Executive, Learning Systems & Tech and Course Registration is responsible for end-to-end academic administration and digital learning support to ensure accurate, compliant, and seamless delivery of undergraduate programmes. The role supports course registration, learning systems, student progression exercises, and academic compliance processes.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Course Registration & Learning Management Support

  • Coordinate course offerings, prerequisites, and registration timelines with faculty.

  • Oversee NTULearn course site setup, enrolment accuracy, and lecture recording schedules.

  • Troubleshoot registration and LMS-related issues, ensuring timely resolution and zero disruption to teaching delivery.

2. Digital & AI-Enabled Teaching Platforms

  • Support administration of AI-enabled and Technology Enabled Learning platforms (e.g., NALA, LAMS, NTULearn).

  • Liaise with faculty and IT teams to ensure reliable system operations and effective user support.

3. Student Progression & Programme Administration

  • Administer student streaming exercises and support Accelerated Bachelor's Programme /Double Degree Programme tracking and processing.

  • Ensure accurate implementation of programme policies and progression requirements.

4. Course Exemptions & Academic Compliance

  • Process exemption applications and coordinate assessments in a timely and auditable manner.

  • Monitor mandatory compliance requirements (e.g., Ethics and Academic Integrity) and generate reports for leadership review.

5. Other duties (not exhaustive)

  • Handle role-based email accounts.

  • Answer students enquiries.

  • Help out in events like orientation, and counter duties.

  • Format exam question papers.

  • Check marked exam scripts.

  • Prepare certification letters.

  • Book facilities and fault reporting.

  • All other ad-hoc duties assigned.

Overall Expected Outcome:
Ensures accurate academic administration, regulatory compliance, and a smooth, technology-enabled learning experience for students and faculty.

Requirements:

  • Recognized degree in any discipline.

  • Minimum 3 years of working experience, with prior experience in academic administration or student services in a university or polytechnic setting (advantageous).

  • Preferably with experience in e-learning platforms or digital education tools in a support or coordination role.

  • Preferably with experience in coordinating academic processes for large cohorts or complex programmes.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Adaptable to new technologies and systems, with strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

  • Proficient in data management, MS Office, and able to quickly learn university IT systems.
