About RySense Academy

RySense Academy empowers public service officers in Singapore with practical skills in qualitative research, data-informed policy making, and research quality assurance. Through highly interactive, face-to-face learning experiences, we equip participants with the knowledge, tools and confidence to conduct robust research, interpret data effectively, and apply evidence-based insights to policy and operational decisions.

About the Role

The candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping the learning experience, quality and impact of RySense Academy's training programmes. This role combines learning design, programme management, trainer support, and learning evaluation to ensure that our programmes are engaging, evidence-based, and relevant to the needs of our learners in the Public Service.

Additionally, he/she will partner with RySense research teams to define and uphold rigorous research standards to ensure consistent and high quality research outputs across teams.

Key Responsibilities

A) Learning Design & Capability Development

1. Work closely with trainers to design and enhance Academy's training programmes in research methods, data quality and designing communications and engagements in the Singapore Public Service.
2. Apply adult learning principles to create engaging, practical, and impactful learning experiences. Advise trainers on programme design, facilitation techniques, and learner engagement strategies.
3. Support trainers in developing interactive learning activities and effective classroom experiences.
4. Develop and curate learning materials, activities, assessments, and learner resources in suitable formats for learners in Academy's programmes and RySense staff.
5. Review and update the RySense competency framework to ensure research competencies remain current, relevant, and aligned with the needs of market research professionals.

B) Academy Operations and Programme Management

1. Manage end-to-end programme administration, including scheduling, logistics, learner & trainer communications, registration, payment and other training related records.
2. Maintain programme documentation, resources, and operational processes for all the above.
3. Support client engagement and programme customisation when required.
4. Design and implement programme evaluation frameworks pre and post course.
5. Analyse learner feedback, engagement data, and programme outcomes.
6. Prepare reports and recommendations to improve programme & learning effectiveness.
7. Facilitate the sharing of learning and facilitation best practices across the Academy.

C) Research Excellence & Quality Assurance

1. Collaborate with research directors to establish standards and measures of good research quality for all research projects by RySense Ltd
2. Adapt best practices and standards of leading market researchers or international bodies for RySense's use
3. Set up a system to measure drive accountability for good research output and outcomes among RySense research teams.

Requirements

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Learning & Development, Education, Adult Learning, Psychology, Social Sciences, Public Policy, Research Methods or a related discipline.
• ACTA, ACLP or equivalent adult education qualification is an advantage.

Experience

• 3-7 years of experience in learning design, instructional design, training management or organisational learning.
• Experience supporting classroom-based and face-to-face learning programmes.
• Experience working with public sector organisations, policy teams or research-related functions is an advantage.
• Familiarity with research methodologies, data literacy or policy evaluation concepts is desirable.
