Job Description

Responsibilities :-

  • Support the full lifecycle of IT procurement for external suppliers, covering IT infrastructure and professional services. Develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with Head Office guidelines to ensure value, efficiency, and compliance to prevailing procurement policies and vendor onboarding requirements.
  • Organise and lead negotiation activities between shortlisted suppliers and key stakeholders, C-level personnel and/or Regional counterparts.
  • Work closely with Risk and Compliance Governance teams, Country and Group Procurement and Audit teams to ensure procurement activities align with regulatory requirements and internal policies. Own and continuously enhance procurement policies and procedures to ensure fair, transparent, and compliant sourcing in line with the Group Procurement Manual.
  • Conduct vendor assessments for onboarding and renewal of support services in line with Compliance mandates on 3rd party agreements.
  • Partner with IT Project teams and Group Procurement sourcing team to define sourcing strategies, identify suitable vendors, and develop negotiation approaches. Lead and support commercial negotiations for hardware, software, and services to achieve cost savings for the Bank.
  • Responsible to develop/enhance existing procedures, Communication materials, dashboards and reports to maintain on-time and comprehensive overview of the unit's operations.

Requirements :-

  • Degree specializing in Procurement, Supply chain management or Purchasing related discipline preferred.
  • At least 5 years relevant experience in the same capacity or as a functional/category lead.
  • A team player and possess good understanding in procurement strategy, process and procedures
  • Good command of English, in written and oral forms of communication.
  • Experienced in operations reporting and design/use of operations dashboard in digital media or via MS Powerpoint.
  • Willing to learn and take on greater challenges to improve one's career potential in the end-to-end Procurement space.
  • Professional Certification in ITIL Foundation and Contract Law or Contract Administration are an added advantage
  • Knowledge and working experience in Procurement operations covering Inventorisation of purchased assets is a definite plus.
