Job Description

We are seeking a detailed-oriented and proactive HR Support Executive to join the Administrative Services (AS) team in the Office of Student Affairs (OSA). In this role, you will oversee the core administrative cycles (hiring, onboarding and offboarding) and supporting employee growth through Learning & Development initiatives. You will also review and continuously optimise HR processes using automation or AI-enabled tools.

HR Administration

  • Provide administrative support across the employee life-cycle, including recruitment coordination, onboarding, and offboarding processes
  • Conduct and oversee the onboarding programme for new hires to ensure a consistent experience
  • Develop and maintain competency frameworks to support role clarity and staff development
  • Manage HR metrics and reports to support informed decision-making
  • Develop and standardise HR documentations, templates, and SOPs to ensure consistency across OSA

Learning & Development

  • Identify training needs across OSA through needs analyses and consultation with reporting managers
  • Coordinate and administer learning programmes to support staff capability-building and professional growth
  • Track training completion rates, gather feedback and evaluate programme effectiveness for future training needs
  • Maintain a centralised training repository to ensure resources are accessible and up to date

Process Improvement

  • Review existing HR and administrative workflows to identify gaps and areas for improvement
  • Streamline operational processes through the adoption of automation or AI tools to reduce manual effort and improve efficiency
  • Establish feedback channels to continuously improve HR services and overall staff experience

Other Responsibility

  • Undertake any other responsibilities as assigned to support broader team goals

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • At least 2 years of HR experience, preferably in a recruitment or learning & development role
  • Familiarity with competency framework development and learning needs analysis
  • Awareness of AI tools, workflow automation platforms and process improvement methodologies would be an advantage
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Resourceful and self-directed, with the ability to work independently
