Job Summary
Manage the end-to-end recruitment and HR administration for foreign workers, ensuring compliance with employment laws and company policies while supporting workforce welfare and operational efficiency in a construction environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead the full recruitment lifecycle for foreign workers by sourcing, screening, interviewing, selecting, and onboarding candidates to meet project staffing needs.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employment records including hiring, termination, leave administration, medical records, transfers, and promotions to ensure compliance and data integrity.
- Process monthly payroll for approximately 300 employees accurately and on schedule to ensure timely compensation.
- Manage work permit applications, renewals, and cancellations for foreign workers in compliance with regulatory requirements to maintain legal workforce status.
- Administer foreign workers WICA (Work Injury Compensation Act) claims and related processes to ensure proper handling of workplace injury cases.
- Coordinate foreign workers dormitory arrangements, ensuring compliance with regulations and addressing day-to-day welfare concerns to support worker well-being.
Required competencies and certifications
- Strong knowledge of local employment laws to ensure compliance in all HR and administrative processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including MS Word and Excel, to manage documentation and reporting effectively.
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Diploma in HR Management or equivalent qualification to support HR functions.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in the construction sector to understand industry-specific workforce requirements.
- Familiarity with Infotech systems to enhance HR administrative efficiency.
