Take on a pivotal role within a professional finance team where you will lead efforts in statutory reporting and regulatory compliance.
- Manage end-to-end financial closing cycles including group, statutory, and regulatory reporting requirements.
- Prepare and review ledger entries and management schedules while maintaining rigorous balance sheet reconciliations.
- Oversee the timely submission of all tax-related filings, including GST returns and annual statutory documents.
- Partner with external auditors and regulatory bodies to ensure smooth information exchange and compliance.
- Champion digital transformation projects and process enhancements to drive efficiency through finance automation.
Skills And Experience Required
- Degree in accounting or finance, or an equivalent professional accreditation.
- Approximately four to five years of relevant professional experience within the insurance or reinsurance industries.
- Strong technical understanding of international reporting standards and specialized insurance accounting.
- Practical knowledge of managing regulatory submissions to local authorities.
- Advanced capability in spreadsheet management and familiarity with standard financial accounting systems.
