Responsibilities
Plan, coordinate and implement standards development projects under the National Standardisation Programme administered by Enterprise Singapore.
Provide secretariat support to Technical Committees and Working Groups, including preparation of meeting agendas, minutes, reports and drafting of standards.
Engage and coordinate with industry, academia and government agencies to facilitate the development, promotion and review of Singapore Standards and Technical References.
Organise standards launch events and outreach activities to promote adoption and awareness of standards.
Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and develop new standards, including conducting consultations to ensure alignment with industry needs.
Support industry and technical research for the development and review of standards, including conducting verification studies to identify potential users of the standards.
Manage and respond to enquiries related to standards within the assigned portfolio in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements
Degree or equivalent qualification in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Precision Engineering or Workplace Safety and Health.
Preferably at least three (3) years of relevant work experience in manufacturing, engineering or safety related fields.
Secretariat experience supporting committees or working groups will be advantageous.
Results oriented with the ability to manage and execute projects both independently and as part of a team.
Meticulous and well organised, with the ability to work effectively in a diverse environment and manage time efficiently in fast paced settings.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and collaborate with multiple stakeholders.
Good writing and communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other productivity tools.
