APSN Tanglin School Relocating to Ang Mo Kio in Q4 2025
Job Purpose:
The Senior Education Technology Executive (Senior ETE) supports the HOD (EdTech/ ICT) in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of ICT and digital learning strategies in APSN Tanglin School. This role strengthens the school's capacity to use technology, including artificial intelligence (AI), for teaching,
learning, and operations, while equipping students with essential digital and future-ready skills. The position requires close collaboration with MOE's Information Technology Division and Special Educational Branch (SEB) Division, APSN HQ Infocomm, and school stakeholders to ensure ICT and AI initiatives are innovative, ethical, impactful, and aligned with both curriculum and organisational priorities.
Key Responsibilities:
Digital Transformation:
. Work with the HOD EdTech/ICT to drive digital transformation by identifying, piloting, and scaling impactful ICT and AI tools and applications.
. Research and evaluate emerging technologies for special education applications,ensuring inclusivity, sustainability, and alignment with school priorities.
Learning Support:
. Design and deliver engaging ICT programmes that build students digital literacy, safe and ethical use of technology and AI, and practical skills for learning, employability, and daily living.
. Support the introduction of AI-powered tools (e.g. adaptive learning platforms, assistive technologies) for personalised learning and accessibility.
. Mentor and build teacher capacity to adopt ICT and AI-enabled practices, tools, and applications that enhance pedagogy, classroom engagement, and student outcomes.
. Provide guidance on responsible AI integration in education, under the direction of the HOD.
Fund/Resource Management:
. Oversee and track ICT funding and resources, ensuring effective utilisation,
accountability, and sustainability.
Stakeholder Engagement:
. Collaborate with teachers, staff, students, and parents/caregivers to ensure ICT and AI initiatives meet practical needs.
. Support the HOD in building partnerships with external organisations and engaging parents/caregivers to enhance student skills, teacher competencies, and overall learning outcomes.
