Senior Executive, Data Governance

JOB DESCRIPTION

Data Transformation & Implementation Support
- Assist in developing and implementing data governance policies, procedures, and standards
- Support the rollout of data governance frameworks across multiple business units
- Help transform complex data governance concepts into practical, actionable guidelines
- Monitor compliance with data governance policies and identify areas for improvement

Training & Education Development
- Create engaging training materials, presentations, and workshops on data governance topics
- Develop user-friendly documentation and quick reference guides
- Support the delivery of training sessions to various stakeholder groups
- Design interactive learning experiences to increase data governance adoption

Stakeholder Engagement & Communication
- Facilitate workshops and meetings with cross-functional teams
- Act as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders
- Gather feedback and requirements from various departments
- Communicate data governance benefits and requirements clearly to diverse audiences

Analysis & Reporting
- Assist in data quality assessments and governance maturity evaluations
- Prepare reports and dashboards to track governance initiatives progress
- Support data lineage documentation and metadata management activities
- Contribute to the development of governance metrics and KPIs

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Technical Skills
- Basic understanding of data management concepts and principles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly PowerPoint and Excel
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) is a plus
- Basic knowledge of databases and SQL is advantageous
