What The Role Is
You will support the Crisis Strategy and Operations Group (CSOG) by conducting analytical projects and maintaining robust data engineering pipelines to enable evidence-based decision-making. This role contributes to operational readiness, crisis response capabilities, and strategic planning through the delivery of reliable, timely, and actionable data insights.
What You Will Be Working On
- Create interactive dashboards and reports using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, and AWS QuickSight.
- Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies relevant to operations.
- Maintain automated data ingestion pipelines from multiple internal and external sources.
- Develop and maintain statistical models and machine learning solutions using Python to support operational analytics.
- Develop and maintain AI-based solutions using Whole of Government applications.
- Implement data validation, quality checks, and security measures.
- Document data sources, definitions, and business logic for transparency and reproducibility.
- Support the development of MOH IT projects.
Educational Background
What we are looking for
- Tertiary education in Data Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Information Technology, or related field.
Experience
- 0-2 years of experience in data engineering, analytics, or related field. Fresh graduates are welcomed.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in Python, with experience in SQL and AWS cloud tools would be an advantage.
- Experience with data visualisation tools (Tableau, Power BI, or AWS QuickSight).
