As the champion for labour movement (LM), NTUC-ARU is clear that our success is highly dependent on us having the right talent to advance our LM cause. We are constantly looking at effective ways to better manage our workforce given the economic volatility and ever-changing workforce landscape.
As part of the Communications Research & Analysis team, you will conduct research and analysis to make sense of online conversations and sentiments relevant to NTUC, labour-related topics and Labour MPs. The teams work will drive the LM narrative, and improve the Workers Compact.
Your key responsibilities include:
- Assist in tracking and summarizing key trends, conversations, and narratives across social media platforms and mainstream media.
- Work under the guidance of senior analysts to interpret media content and contribute to insight reports that support strategic decision-making.
- Support the development and maintenance of monitoring dashboards, databases, and other tools used to organize media intelligence.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to gather relevant information and enhance the quality of analysis.
Requirements:
- Experience in research, media monitoring, digital communications, or a related field. Fresh graduates are welcomed.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and basic understanding of digital media trends.
- Interest in developing skills in media analysis, research methodologies, and insight generation.
- Good communication and writing skills, with an eagerness to learn how to craft clear and actionable insights.
- A team player who is organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in seeking feedback and improvement.
- Passion to serve and grow in a mission-driven environment.
