Job Description

As we continue to grow our business, we are looking for a dedicated professional to join our team and play a crucial role in managing fit-and-proper assessments for new agents and client advisors in our consumer distribution division.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for conducting thorough fit and proper assessments under the Representative Notification Framework (RNF).
  • Evaluate each candidate's suitability, making informed recommendations, and escalating any adverse findings for further review.
  • Keen attention to detail, ensuring all candidate documentation is complete and accurate.
  • Key point of contact for candidates, hiring managers, and internal stakeholders, addressing any missing information or supporting documents required for due diligence checks, discussing funding schemes, and coordinating the signing of Agency Agreements.
  • Conduct periodic reviews and checks, including quarterly reviews of representatives under enhanced monitoring, daily credit monitoring of representatives financial statuses, and annual self-declarations from representatives.
  • Support other Distribution Support functions, including handling reference check requests, granting sales authority, and managing audit requests related to fit-and-proper assessments.
  • Regularly review processes to streamline and ensure their relevance.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills will be essential in providing regular statistics and reports to our Distribution Channels about candidate and representative appointments.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Distribution Support, particularly within the MAS Representative Notification Framework.
  • A degree or diploma in any discipline is required, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Highly organised, focused, and able to work under tight timelines and pressure.
  • Independence, self-drive, and a results-oriented mindset are essential, as well as meticulous attention to detail and strong interpersonal skills to influence stakeholders effectively.
