Senior Executive, Cargo Flow (Long Haul) - Shipping Liner MNC

Role Overview:

We are seeking a meticulous and proactive Cargo Flow individual to oversee and optimize the movement of cargo within specific regions. This role is pivotal in ensuring efficient container utilization and timely evacuation of containers, thereby supporting the seamless operation of our regional services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategies to maximize vessel capacity and ensure optimal container utilization across the network.
• Collaborate with internal teams to gather and analyze booking forecasts, addressing discrepancies promptly to maintain service integrity.
• Track and evaluate port and vessel performance, implementing corrective actions as necessary to uphold service standards.
• Generate and review daily cargo flow reports, providing insights and recommendations to enhance operational efficiency.
• Liaise with agents and internal departments to ensure alignment on cargo movements and resolve any arising issues.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Degree in Maritime Business, Supply Chain or any related discipline is a plus.
• More than 1 year of experience in a shipping carrier with container background is a plus.
• Strong command of Microsoft Excel, including functions such as VLOOKUP and PivotTables is advantageous.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills with the capacity to make informed decisions under pressure.
• Effective verbal and written communication abilities to interact with various stakeholders.
• Familiarity with trade routes and regional port operations is advantageous.
