The Social Media Senior Executive will be responsible for developing and executing social media strategies that enhance our online presence, engage our audience and promote our mission of marine education and conservation.
Responsibilities:
Social Media Content Strategy:
- Plan, develop and implement social media strategy across multiple platforms (e.g. Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.), in tandem with business objectives and audience insights.
- Synthesize brand marketing objectives into creative concepts and seamlessly translate them into content executions that create desire, drive conversions across various social media channels, and promote brand advocacy.
- Keep abreast with the latest industry trends, customer behaviour, social media trends/tools and best practices, and recommend and implement new strategies to enhance our social media presence.
Social Media Management:
- Manage end-to-end across the Singapore Oceanarium's social accounts.
- Oversee, plan and deliver content across different social media platforms.
- Create and curate engaging content, including posts, stories, videos and graphics, that aligns with our brand voice and mission.
- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g. education, conservation and research, etc.) to gather content and promote programmes, events and initiatives.
- Plan and execute social media campaigns to support marquee events, programmes and outreach initiatives.
- Manage social media advertising campaigns, including budget allocation, targeting and performance analysis.
- Develop and manage influencer programmes and engagement initiatives, to amplify our reach, engagement and impact.
- Track and analyse social media posts performance and translate findings into actionable, data-drive recommendations, in order to improve future performance.
Community Management:
- Develop, build and manage the Singapore Oceanarium's social media communities, by responding to social media posts and developing discussions.
- Engage with our online community by responding to comments, messages and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements:
- Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Prior experience (4+ years) in social media or digital marketing related roles for brands.
- Experience in social media marketing and influencer management.
- Proficiency in social media management tools and analytics platforms.
- Creative mindset with the ability to think strategically and execute effectively.
- Strong creative thinking, copywriting, editing and analytical skills.
- Team player with good interpersonal and project management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Robust understanding of digital content and social marketing industry trends, tactics, and user behavior, including content distribution strategies and best practices.
- Graphic design skills, video production and editing skills.
- Passion for marine life and conservation.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
