Job Description

Our client is a reputable name in the Shipping industry. Currently, they are seeking a suitably qualified candidate to join them as Senior Executive/Asst Manager (Tanker Operations).

In this role, you will be responsible for the following :

  • Handling shipping operation of time charter/ voyage/spot charter shipments calculation, e-filing as well as commission billing and collection.
  • Ensuring Charter Party terms and company policies/compliance rules are closely complied with and adhered to.
  • Liaise closely with external & internal stakeholders.
  • Attend to queries/issues/disputes and working with concerned internal and external parties to resolve them.
  • Liaise and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders for shipment incidents and emergencies on vessels during voyage
  • Keep up to date daily a database of chartering / operational information
  • Keep up to date entries of contract details and accruals for the costs where invoices are expected in accordance with the Charter Party

Requirements:

  • Diploma/Degree in Maritime or related field
  • Minimum 3 years & more of shipping operations experience in the oil/tanker industry
  • Possess sound knowledge & sound understanding of shipping operations in the oil or tanker industries
  • Strong analytical, numerical skills and attention to details
  • Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Effective team player with proactive and highly motivated approach
  • Strong interpersonal communication and coordination skills
