Job Description

The SPH Chinese Media Group (CMG) is looking for a motivated individual to help strengthen our training partnerships and shape strategic communications that support our leadership. You will work closely with internal stakeholders such as the SPH Media Academy, which is an in-house training arm, and overseas partners to enable impactful training initiatives and programmes. You will also craft clear, aligned and compelling communication materials for internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Academic & Training Partnerships (60%)

  • Coordinate and implement MOUs with overseas universities and training partners for CMG-specific training
  • Partner SPH Media Academy in coordinating training-related initiatives, including workshops, short courses, talent exchange and capability-building activities for the division
  • Liaise between internal stakeholders and external partners for CMG-specific training requirements
  • Track partnership outcomes and effectiveness, and prepare reports as required
  • Monitor and analyse developments in China's media landscape developments and synthesise insights into summary decks to support learning and discussions

Strategy and Communication (40%)

  • Synthesise division strategy and talking points into structured presentations and reports for senior management
  • Collect and consolidate inputs from other departments to ensure accuracy and consistency of messaging across
  • Develop and maintain tracking dashboards (e.g. Excel) to monitor progress
  • Support follow-up actions for strategic initiatives, including coordinating milestone reviews and documenting key decisions

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of relevant working experience with a degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, or related field; experience in supporting partnerships, project coordination, or strategy-related work preferred
  • Strong communication skills in English and Mandarin (written and spoken) with the ability to independently develop and design Chinese marketing materials
  • Proficient in PowerPoint/Google Slides with basic Excel/Sheets analytics
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to work both independently and across teams
  • Highly organized, self-driven, and proactive in follow-through
  • Interest and familiarity in the regional media landscape and talent developments, particularly in Chinese-language media, as well as China's media ecosystem
