In this strategic role, you will drive DSTAs security policy framework, ensuring it adapts to a dynamic security landscape. You will monitor regional security trends, assess regulatory shifts, and advise on the implications for DSTAs security policies and processes. Leveraging your knowledge of emerging technologies, you will recommend solutions to enhance operational efficiency and enforcement practices.
Responsibilities
- Security Landscape Monitoring: Track regional security developments, regulatory changes, and policies impacting DSTAs security strategy.
- Policy Review and Implementation: Continuously assess and refine security policies and processes to maintain high standards of operational security and compliance.
- Data Analysis: Conduct in-depth data analysis to evaluate security operations, identifying gaps and proposing improvements.
- Technology Solutions: Research and propose advanced security technologies that enhance operational enforcement.
- Reporting: Prepare detailed reports and presentation materials to support managements decision-making.
- Operational Support: Assist in enforcements checks on DSTA premises and contribute to security operations at DSTA-organised events.
- Degree in any field with a strong interest in security and technology.
- Experience in policy development and leading projects related to security policy implementation, technology integration, or operational improvements will be advantageous.
- Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and written communication skills.
- Proactive and able to work independently or collaboratively within a team.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and Data Analytics tools such as Qlik Sense and Tableau is beneficial.
