We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Senior Executive/Assistant Manager, Lifecycle Marketing to spearhead on-ground activation events and drive retention, engagement and subscription growth for our print and bundled news products. The role requires strong execution skills, creativity in audience engagement, and the ability to translate marketing strategies into measurable subscription outcomes. Apart from execution, the successful candidate will also be responsible for day-to-day operational tasks across campaigns, content preparation and reporting.
Roles & Responsibilities
Activation & Events
- Plan, organize, and execute on-ground activation events, roadshows and promotional campaigns to increase brand visibility and subscription uptake. Planning should be data-informed, centred around the target audience for print news products.
- Coordinate logistics, venue arrangements, and manpower (including promoters and vendors) to ensure smooth execution.
- Track performance and provide post-event evaluation reports with learnings and recommendations.
Subscription Growth
- Drive acquisition of new print and bundled news subscribers through direct marketing and activation initiatives.
- Prepare marketing materials, pitch tools, and promotional offers to increase conversion.
- Monitor subscription sales performance, analyse customer trends, and suggest improvements for campaigns.
Marketing & Communications
- Collaborate with internal teams (editorial, creative, digital) to ensure consistent brand messaging.
- Develop targeted promotional materials (flyers, displays, social snippets) to support activations.
- Maintain a calendar of marketing events and align with broader campaigns.
Stakeholder & Vendor Management
- Liaise with event partners, external vendors, and internal stakeholders to deliver cost-efficient and impactful activations.
- Negotiate rates, manage budgets, and ensure timely delivery of marketing collaterals.

- 13 years of relevant marketing experience, ideally in events, activations, or subscription-driven industries (media, FMCG, telco, publishing).
