Overview
The incumbent will be responsible for managing the operations of assigned clinical services across inpatient and outpatient settings. The role involves supporting service excellence, process improvements, and strategic initiatives in alignment with institutional goals. The candidate will collaborate closely with clinical leaders, nursing, administrative staff, and external partners to deliver high-quality, patient-centric care and operational efficiency.
Job Responsibilities
Operational Management
- Oversee day-to-day operations of assigned service points (e.g., wards, outpatient clinics).
- Partner with clinical and nursing leads to ensure smooth service delivery and operational problem-solving.
- Support patient-facing teams including front counter staff to enhance service experience.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure adequate resource and infrastructure planning.
- Drive service recovery efforts and resolve patient or service-related issues effectively.
Strategic & Financial Planning
- Support the development and implementation of departmental strategies and business plans.
- Contribute to financial planning including budget tracking, cost containment, and performance reviews.
- Assist in achieving volume and financial targets through data-driven decision-making.
Project & Process Improvement
- Lead or support hospital improvement projects, including infrastructure and IT-related initiatives.
- Review workflows, identify gaps, and implement solutions to improve operational KPIs.
- Collaborate in the planning and execution of campus redevelopment or service transformation efforts.
Staff Management & Development
- Supervise non-clinical staff, including performance management and training.
- Ensure appropriate staff onboarding, induction, and skills development.
- Promote a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and service excellence.
Quality Assurance & Compliance
- Track and monitor performance indicators including patient satisfaction, efficiency, and safety.
- Ensure alignment with institutional policies and regulatory standards.
- Participate in committees and contribute to policy reviews and audits.
Job Requirements
- Degree in any discipline
- Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience, preferably in healthcare or service industries
- Experience in clinical operations, hospital administration, or project management is preferred
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) SAP and healthcare IT systems an advantage.
- Independent, self-motivated, and a strong team player.
- Comfortable with ambiguity and change solution-oriented mindset.
- Passionate about improving healthcare delivery and patient experience.
