Job Description
As a Senior Executive/ Assistant Manager, Customer Success in the SPH Media Corporate Subscription Solutions team, you will own our accounts from the day client signs on through every renewal after that. This role sits at the intersection of relationship management, account operations, and channel partnerships, and you will be the reason companies stick around and grow with us.
Segment Ownership Overview
Your primary mission is to manage, grow, and retain accounts, working closely with our reseller network and Enterprise Marketing team to bring new accounts on board. You are not just maintaining subscriptions; you are the primary relationship owner responsible for renewal, expansion, and account health across the segment.
While you will handle the day-to-day logistics, admin, and customer service that keep existing accounts running smoothly, you will also work proactively with partners to identify and convert into the segment.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Own the full lifecycle for accounts — onboarding, renewal, and expansion — end to end
- Work with the Enterprise Marketing team and our reseller partners to identify and convert new companies into the segment
- Handle contracts, logistics, admin requests, and day-to-day customer service for accounts
- Plan renewal conversations around the academic calendar — budget cycles, summer gaps, and back-to-school ramp
- Spot and pursue expansion opportunities
- Monitor account health and usage patterns to flag at-risk accounts ahead of renewal
- Feed insights and recurring requests from accounts back to Marketing and Product to improve the offering
- Cross-functional, stakeholders management
Who are we looking for
- Preferred 2-4 years of account management, customer success, or B2B/B2G sales experience
- Comfortable owning a full book of accounts independently, without needing every task handed to you
- Genuinely fine mixing relationship work with admin and logistics — this role isn't purely strategic account planning
- Some exposure to channel or reseller partnerships is helpful
- Organised enough to track renewal timing across an academic calendar without things slipping
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, comfortable working with , resellers, and internal stakeholders
