We are seeking a dynamic and strategic individual for Business Development in our Defence Business. This role is pivotal in creating opportunities, generating leads, and developing prospects, both independently and in collaboration with our Business Units and other Business Areas. The ideal candidate will build trust and confidence with stakeholders, ensuring alignment without compromising our business positions.

Be Part of Our Success

  • Account Management: Manage the defence business leads and prospects, ensuring client satisfaction and fostering long-term relationships.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including our business leaders, military personnel and DTC personnel.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve business development goals.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape in the local defence business segment.
  • Opportunity Creation: Identify and develop new business opportunities within MINDEF/SAF.
  • Lead Generation: Generate and qualify leads through various channels, including networking and participating in defence related events.
  • Proposal Development: Lead the development of proposals and presentations for potential clients.
  • Performance Tracking: Monitor and report on the performance of business development activities, adjusting strategies as needed.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with our business units and business areas to identify overlapping interests, create and leverage synergies.
  • Business Unit Understanding: Gain an understanding of the challenges and capabilities of our Lines of Business.

Qualities We Value

  • Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline preferred
  • Experience in business development, or capability development in a relevant industry or government agency.
  • Strong understanding of market dynamics and industry trends.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Highly motivated and goal-oriented.
