Job Summary
You will lead and manage comprehensive financial and corporate accounting functions for an FMCG company, driving accurate financial reporting, analysis, and compliance to support strategic business decisions and sustainable growth.
Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee all financial planning and analysis activities to deliver actionable insights on group performance
- Manage financial and management reporting processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness of month-end and year-end closings
- Direct budgetary control processes, including preparation and coordination of annual budgeting and financial forecasting to align with business objectives
- Administer treasury, funding, tax planning, and tax management functions to optimize financial resources and compliance
- Consolidate group financial statements to provide a clear financial overview for stakeholders
- Review and submit GST reports in compliance with regulatory requirements
- Coordinate and liaise with external and internal auditors, tax advisors, and corporate secretaries to facilitate annual statutory audits and ensure regulatory compliance
- Ensure adherence to applicable laws, regulations, and accounting standards, including tax laws, to mitigate financial and legal risks
- Lead and develop a finance team to maintain smooth operation of accounting functions and foster continuous improvement
Required competencies and certifications
- Bachelor's degree in accountancy or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years of relevant finance and accounting experience
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Proactive working attitude demonstrated through consistent initiative in financial management tasks
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, applied to financial analysis and reporting
- Independent and meticulous approach with strong attention to detail
